Arne is founder and director of
Genetic Ancestor Ltd.
Arne Röhl, born 1969, studied mathematics at the University of Hamburg and wrote his PhD thesis on phylogenetic network analysis of DNA under
supervision of
Prof. H.-J. Bandelt, (Hamburg) and
Prof. B. Brinkmann (University of Münster) in 1999.
Arne Röhl's shareware NETW20x.EXE for DOS formed the basis for the Windows version NETW4x.EXE which was developed under the auspices of Fluxus Technology Ltd.
